Your tasks and responsibilities:
As a Senior UI Designer, you will play a key role within our UI design team, creating high-quality user interfaces for complex medical software applications.
You will be responsible for the design quality of a wide range of products and work closely with other UI Designers. Through your high standards, professional coaching, and hands-on design work, you will inspire others to create outstanding user experiences.
In this role, you will shape the user experience of Siemens Healthineers products and services for patients and healthcare professionals worldwide. At the same time, you will become part of a strong design community, actively contribute to the evolution of our visual language, and create an impact that extends far beyond individual projects.
- You independently design high-quality user interfaces for complex and strategically important medical software products, directly contributing your design expertise to the products.
- You translate complex requirements into intuitive, visually compelling, and user-centered design solutions, driving them from concept through successful implementation.
- You ensure high standards of usability, consistency, and visual excellence through design reviews.
- You collaborate closely with UX, product management, and software development teams, support the developer handoff process, and contribute to the high-quality implementation of your designs through to the final product.
- You advise stakeholders on complex UI topics and contribute your expertise to strategic design decisions.
- You coach and support UI Designers in their professional development, actively share knowledge, and contribute to the growth of our design community.
- You support team leadership with recruiting activities through portfolio reviews and technical interviews.

Your qualifications and experience:
- You have successfully completed a degree in User Interface Design, Communication Design, or a comparable field of study.
- You have many years of experience in designing complex software products, ideally in a B2B environment, within an agency, or as part of an in-house UX team.
- You bring a strong portfolio that demonstrates design excellence, systems thinking, and experience across different products, industries, and application domains.
- You possess deep expertise in visual design, visual concept development, and the creation of high-quality user interfaces in Figma based on established design systems.
- You have proven experience conducting design reviews and mentoring or supporting other UI Designers.
- You have extensive experience in evolving design systems for diverse user groups and contexts, as well as collaborating with development teams, managing developer handoffs, and ensuring quality through final product implementation. Strong knowledge of modern front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS completes your profile.
