We will be glad to have you in our team as a Buyer, where you will be responsible for successfully handling everyday procurement activities from selecting vendors to negotiating contracts and purchasing products.
Your role:
- Implement commodity strategies to ensure a long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials
- Implement and apply globally defined methods, processes, and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g., compliant Purchase-to-Pay [P2P] process, Procurement guidelines, IT systems)
- Analyze offers and purchase bids - prepare and conduct negotiation processes to obtain highest feasible savings
- Generate savings and contribute to the success of the business, ensuring transparency of results
- Execute e2e supplier management processes (e.g., qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification)
- RFI, RFQ & RFP tender scoping and preparation, analysis, and clarification, TOCO evaluation and award
- Cooperate closely with internal customers (requisitioners) to ensure customer care and early involvement
Your expertise/ skills:
- BSc/MSc in a related subject, such as Business Administration, Logistics, Procurement
- 2-3 years of professional experience in a similar position is preferred
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a team player mindset
- Proficiency in MS Office. Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
- Fluency in Greek and English language, both written and spoken
The position is fixed-term, and the employment contract will be handled via Randstad.
