Your role:


  •  Provide strategic and operational legal advice and governance with the purpose of ensuring integrity and safeguarding the values and reputation together and in close collaboration with Compliance (without tax law, employment law or sanitary registry regulation).
  • Corporate Governance by maintaining the legal standing of the local entity (minutes, powers of attorney, bylaws), coordinating notary procedures and all corporate related matters.
  • Reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements with key vendors and supervising external counsel when specialized complexity is required.
  • Support business and functional teams with legal input on transactions, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.
  • Support the Latin American regional legal team on improve existing processes by maintaining and developing legal knowledge including tools and templates.
  • Manage housekeeping control of claims and litigations, including amicable solutions out of court.

    Your expertise:

    •  At least 3 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, including corporate maintenance of legal entities, contracts, negotiation, and government requests.
    • Oversee corporate governance and maintain legal documentation mainly for legal entities in Mexico and Costa Rica and El Salvador with management skills for support of external law firms when needed outside Mexico.
    •  Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, track progress, and meet deadlines; proven ability to analyze and solve problems in a compliant manner.
    •  Fluent in English
    •  Proven self-management ability and capable of managing multiple priorities.
    • High sense of accountability and high ethical standards.
    •  Strong communication skills (oral and writing), proactiveness and curiosity.

    Desirable but not mandatory: Experience in health industry; and/or proficiency in digital management tools.
