As an Operational Excellence & Internal Control Manager, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening the organization’s governance, efficiency, and continuous improvement of culture. You will lead and orchestrate key processes ensuring operational excellence through robust methodologies, digitalization, and future-ready approaches.
A major focus of this role is the strategic integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into our operational framework, meaning leveraging data, automation, and intelligent systems to enhance business performance, control accuracy, and decision-making transparency. You will act as a driver of innovation, identifying opportunities to use AI to transform internal processes, digitalize approval workflows, and elevate continuous improvement initiatives to a new level.
This is a high-impact role for a forward-thinking leader who is passionate about business integrity, process excellence, and shaping the future of work and healthcare.

Your role:

1. Healthineers Performance System (HPS) Manager

• The Healthineers Performance System (HPS) is Siemens Healthineers’ company-wide continuous improvement framework that combines processes, methods, and best practices—driven by a Lean-Agile mindset—to help teams work better together, solve problems, and deliver on strategic goals.
• Coordinate, prioritize, and organize improvement events and HPS courses that create measurable value for the organization.
• Manage or lead strategic and operational business challenges using HPS methodologies.
• Foster a continuous improvement mindset by promoting relevant tools, frameworks, and Lean/Agile principles.
• Support or orchestrate the Hoshin Kanri process and productivity initiatives.
• Coach peers and key managers on the use of HPS principles.
• Act as a thought leader for Agile and Lean ways of working.
• Promote HPS by sharing success stories and recognizing key contributors.
• Lead and coach the key enablers.
• Maintain active involvement in the global HPS community.
• Collaborate with the HPS office to execute the HPS strategy.
• Integrate AI-driven insights such as root-cause analytics, predictive performance indicators, and intelligent workflow optimization into HPS initiatives.

2. Internal Control Manager

• Act as the key contact for local management, regional hubs, headquarters, and external auditors regarding Internal Control (IC) topics.
• Support and advise management on the implementation and continuous improvement of an adequate Internal Control System.
• Ensure correct application of the Risk and Internal Control (RIC) methodology and confirm Entity Scoping while understanding operational impacts.
Signature Authorization Manager: Drive and optimize governance of signature authorities by partnering with leadership to define roles and thresholds, safeguard legal and compliance standards, increase transparency in decision rights, and lead digital transformation of approval and control processes.
• Coordinate and support the network of Control Requirement Contacts (CRCs) and Independent Assessors (IAs) to ensure timely and accurate performance, documentation, and assessment results.
• Ensure all colleagues complete the mandatory trainings.
• Participate in central trainings and conduct local training sessions.
• Perform regular inventory and review of user roles in the RIC Tool.
• Constructively challenge management to identify and implement improvements.
• Facilitate an effective and efficient IC process throughout the year.
Drive automation and AI-enabled monitoring to enhance control quality, detect anomalies, and reduce manual workload.

 Your qualifications and experience:

• Master’s degree in engineering, Science, Business Administration, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years in process optimization, operational excellence, or organizational change management.
• Proven experience in agile methodologies and continuous improvement frameworks.
• Strong understanding of risk and compliance frameworks.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to lead through influence and collaboration.
• Experience in digital transformation; interest or experience in AI-enabled process optimization is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
• Professional proficiency in French, Dutch and English.

Why join us:

• Opportunity to shape the future of operational excellence by integrating AI and digital innovation into core business processes.
• High visibility role with cross-functional impact.
• A dynamic, international environment that encourages continuous learning and professional growth.
• The ability to contribute to a culture of excellence, integrity, and improvement.
What do we offer:
• A minimum of 31 days of annual leave.
