This is a strategic commercial role with responsibility for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, developing customer relationships, and executing sales strategies across both public and private healthcare sectors. The successful candidate will act as the regional leader for ultrasound, working closely with clinical specialists, product teams, and key stakeholders to deliver sustainable business growth.

The role offers significant autonomy and visibility within a multinational healthcare technology organization and is ideal for a commercially focused professional with strong experience in medical imaging, ultrasound, or capital equipment sales.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Leadership & Business Development

  • Lead the ultrasound business across Catalonia, driving market growth and achieving sales objectives.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within hospitals, private healthcare groups, and imaging centers.
  • Expand market share and strengthen the company's competitive position.

Customer & Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
  • Develop strategic engagement plans for major healthcare accounts.
  • Support complex sales opportunities and negotiations.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnership development.

Pipeline & Performance Management

  • Manage and develop a robust sales pipeline through CRM tools.
  • Deliver accurate forecasting and business planning.
  • Monitor sales performance, opportunity progression, and market trends.
  • Achieve sales, revenue, order intake, and profitability targets.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product Specialists, Clinical Application Specialists, Marketing, Service, and Business Partner teams.
  • Coordinate local commercial initiatives and product launch activities.
  • Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to support strategic decision-making.

Market Development

  • Increase brand visibility through participation in congresses, scientific meetings, and industry events.
  • Develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and influential clinical stakeholders.
  • Identify emerging trends and opportunities within the healthcare imaging market.

What we are looking for: 

  • Minimum 5–8 years of successful sales experience within Medical Devices, Healthcare Technology, Medical Imaging, Ultrasound, or Capital Equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of the Spanish healthcare environment, particularly within Catalonia.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding commercial targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English. Catalan is highly valued.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Catalonia.
