Product and Solutions Development Lead
Profile Summary
The Development Lead combines technical leadership with people management to guide high-performing teams in delivering scalable, maintainable software products. This role drives engineering excellence, fosters an agile culture, and ensures delivery aligned with business objectives while mentoring team members and championing continuous improvement across the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
o Build a high-performing, inclusive team culture by fostering psychological safety, promoting diversity, aligning on shared goals, and empowering individuals through growth opportunities.
o Provide data-driven feedback, coaching, and career development support through regular one-on-ones, reviewing individual performance, technical contributions, skill gaps, and development needs.
o Lead Agile ceremonies, drive continuous process improvement using Lean and Agile principles, and apply Agile Maturity Models to improve team agility, delivery predictability, and responsiveness.
o Collaborate with Architects, product managers, and stakeholders to align technical execution with business objectives; sustain deep product and technical knowledge to guide architectural decisions and quality reviews.
o Champion engineering excellence by promoting software craftsmanship, clean code standards, TDD, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and a culture of accountability for quality at every stage.
o Possess a strong working knowledge of GenAI concepts, tools, and emerging practices to guide the team in adopting and applying AI-assisted development effectively and responsibly.
o Foster innovation by encouraging experimentation, enhancing productivity through automation and tooling, and contributing to segment-level initiatives such as Ignite, Tech Talks, and Communities of Practice.
Qualifications
o At least five years of experience in software product development and people management.
o Expertise in product and solutions development processes, tools, and methodologies, with a focus on the PLM+ Healthcare industry.
o Strong proficiency in relevant programming languages, frameworks, software architecture, and design patterns.
o Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
o Demonstrated ability to contribute to technical strategy, architecture decisions, and innovation initiatives.
o Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with team members, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders.
