Innovation Strategy and Ecosystem (TE ISE):
The TE ISE team drives the SHIFT - Open Innovation approach for Siemens Healthineers globally. The 
team is responsible for Open Innovation Initiatives that foster healthcare innovations, design and 
operations of Innovation Centers/Labs, co-creation with Healthcare providers and establishing 
partnerships with external innovation ecosystem such as startups, SMEs, incubators etc.
Management intern:
As a management intern, you will play a critical role in supporting the strategic planning and decision?making processes within SHIFT Innovation Center. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth 
analysis of healthcare trends, global market dynamics, competitive and technology landscapes to inform 
strategic initiatives. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a 
passion for healthcare innovation.
Tasks and responsibilities:
As a Management Intern, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to support with:
Market Research 
• Conduct primary and secondary research to identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and 
competitive landscapes.
• Synthesize insights into actionable recommendations to inform strategic decisions.
Innovation & Entrepreneurship
• Assist in the planning and execution of co-creation workshops, training, and innovation 
programs.
• Support Innovation Projects by helping define use cases, validate MVPs, and gather real-time 
customer feedback.
• Scout public funding opportunities and manage grant-related tasks to enable innovation and 
collaborative R&D initiatives.
Data Analytics
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to derive insights that drive innovation strategy and 
service commercialization.
• Develop presentations and reports for customer and management presentations.
Marketing & Communications
• Contribute to the development of marketing collateral, thought leadership content, and digital 
campaigns.
• Assist in managing internal and external communications to promote SHIFT’s brand and 
services.
• Communicate funding opportunities to business lines and manage related content on the 
website.

• You are interested in working on a variety of different interdisciplinary projects
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
• You feel at home in an innovative, multicultural, interdisciplinary environment
• You are open to new ideas and interested in both working independently and, in a team
• You are open to new fields of working and tasks outside your studies
• You are exactly the right person for this position, if you are interested in solving real problems in the 
field of medical technology & have strong research and analytical skills
• You are proficient in MS Office tools and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI)
• Familiarity with innovation frameworks (e.g., Design Thinking) is a plus.

• Students in the final or pre-final year of their study (Bachelors/ Masters) in Business 
administration/ Marketing/ Strategy/ Analytics/ Innovation/ Entrepreneurship between July 2025
– July 2026
