Your role:
- As a Technical Support Specialist, you will assist clinical customers and service technicians in Italy by diagnosing issues with Siemens MRI systems. Your responsibilities include working with both service technicians and clinical clients to analyze and resolve malfunctions in these MRI systems.
- You participate in a global team of experts, using virtual meeting rooms, chat rooms or remote access along with our internal knowledge database to independently perform diagnoses on the system.
- Based on your analysis, you will create an action plan and assess whether and which spare parts are needed.
- You will contribute to tracking measures, adjusting, sharing knowledge, and escalating problems.
- You will participate in training and technical seminars in Germany.
Your expertise:
- You have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, medical engineering, or a comparable field.
- You have professional experience in the repair/technical support of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) systems.
- Alternatively, we also welcome applicants with technical vocational training and further education as a technician and extensive professional experience in this field.
- You have knowledge of fault analysis and troubleshooting image quality.
- You have good IT skills, including a basic understanding of DICOM and associated troubleshooting, SAP, Microsoft Office, and network infrastructures.
- Ideally, you have knowledge in the areas of material logistics, spare parts tracking, and escalation, as well as a basic understanding of clinical modality applications and workflows.
- Technical report writing skills.
- Analyze, plan, report and act on technical issues.
Your attributes and skills:
- With your business-fluent Italian and English skills, you will provide customer support throughout the EMEA region via direct phone contact. You are capable of documenting malfunctions, communicating effortlessly with your colleagues, and understanding training that is typically conducted in English. Ideally, you already have experience in intercultural collaboration.
- You will work from home and the office and are self-motivated and flexible regarding your working hours (including on-call duty) and occasional visits to customers sites (approximately 10%, if required). In the modality business environment, it may sometimes be necessary to work outside regular working hours or on weekends.
