GB&I Business Zone EHS Team Leader
Join us in pioneering breakthroughs in healthcare. For everyone. Everywhere. Sustainably.
At Siemens Healthineers, EHS is central to how we protect people, support customers, and operate responsibly in a highly regulated healthcare environment.
As GB&I Business Zone EHS Team Leader, you will lead the delivery of environmental protection, health, and safety across Great Britain & Ireland, ensuring strong governance, practical implementation, and a culture where safety and compliance support business performance rather than hinder it.
This is a senior but hands‑on leadership role. You will work with GB&I leadership while staying closely connected to day‑to‑day operations, service teams, and sites across the Zone.
Your role:
- Lead the implementation of the Siemens Healthineers EHS strategy, governance framework, and objectives across the GB&I Business Zone, ensuring alignment with global standards and compliance with UK and Ireland regulations.
- Provide technical leadership and subject‑matter expertise across a broad range of EHS topics, including environmental protection, occupational health and safety, health management, ionising and non‑ionising radiation, dangerous goods, and emergency preparedness.
- Monitor EHS performance across GB&I, providing regular insight and guidance to the EMEA Region EHS Head, and escalating or addressing issues as appropriate.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable EHS legislation, internal requirements, and the Siemens Healthineers EHS Corporate Governance framework.
- Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of the Siemens Healthineers EHS Management System, including participation in global EHS programmes and initiatives.
- Lead, support, and develop EHS professionals across GB&I, including performance management, appraisals, and development planning.
- Deliver Zone‑level EHS reporting and promote the sharing of best practices across Siemens Healthineers Corporate EHS, Business Areas, and other Regions/Zones, supporting the One Healthineers culture.
- Represent Siemens Healthineers in interactions with customers, industry associations, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders, and contribute to regional and international EHS conferences, workshops, and training activities as required.
Your expertise:
- Significant experience in EHS leadership within a complex, international or matrix organization.
- Strong knowledge of EHS management systems, governance, and compliance.
- Proven ability to lead, influence, and develop EHS teams across multiple locations.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and balancing business needs with EHS requirements.
- Excellent communication, decision‑making, and organisational skills.
- Strong IT capability, including collaboration tools and EHS reporting systems.
