Apply now for the Sales Account Manager position and play a key role in the Malaysia team. You will lead and drive the sales strategy and operations within the assigned territory, ensuring revenue growth, market penetration, and achievement of business objectives.

Your Role:
As Sales Account Manager you will be responsible for below:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
  • Implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet order revenue and market share growth targets within the assigned territory.
  • Formulate sales plans by setting clear sales goals and design action plans to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Adopt innovative financing solutions/programs to meet evolving market and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with local cross-functional teams on marketing activities, including campaigns, events, and promotions, to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
Team Leadership and Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team within assigned territory.
  • Set performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide ongoing training and development.
  • Cultivate a high-performance culture and ensure alignment with corporate values and goals.
Sales Operations and Performance Monitoring:
  • Work closely with the sales team to generate leads, support tender/quotation requests and convert them into sales.
  • Oversee daily sales operations, including receivable collection, pipeline management, forecasting, and adherence to sales processes using Siemens Healthineers CRM tools (e.g., funnel forecast, budget, new order achievement, winning-rate, demand planning).
  • Identify potential risks that may impact the business and provide early escalation to manage and resolve these issues, converting them into sales opportunities.
  • Provide update and ensure adoption sales procedures and tools that enhance productivity and efficiency.
Market Analysis and Customer Engagement:
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and market segments.
  • Execute strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing customer bases.
  • Stay informed about local healthcare systems, regulations, and their potential impact on the business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing needs, resolving issues, and delivering exceptional service.
KOL & References Sites:
  • Maintaining and developing a regional network of Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) and reference sites jointly driving and influencing other stakeholders within the country.
Market Retention and Expansion:
  • Proactively identify opportunities within the existing installed base and convert competitor territories to lay the groundwork for future business growth.
Collaboration and Coordination:
  • Collaborate with marketing, business line manager, product development, and other departments to align sales efforts with overall business strategies.

Your Expertise:
  • You hold a successfully completed Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, Diagnostic Imaging, or a related field. Advanced qualifications or certifications would be an advantage.
  • You have minimum 10 years of experience in sales roles within the healthcare diagnostic imaging sector, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the healthcare diagnostic imaging market, including key products and technologies.
  • You demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies, manage territory-specific activities, and drive revenue growth.
  • Proven capability to lead, mentor, and manage a sales team.
  • You have excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, with the capacity to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • You possess effective organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
  • You possess strong IT skills, including proficiency with CRM systems, sales management tools, and data analysis software.
  • You adhere to the highest ethical standards in all business dealings and ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
