We invite you to join our global team as an intern in the Public Sector Engagement and Business Development team within Siemens Healthineers. In this role, you will support the identification and development of new business opportunities, collaborate across the team on strategic initiatives, and contribute to a range of ongoing projects. You will also help support healthcare transformation projects across the Middle East and Africa region, gaining broad exposure to business development activities in a dynamic and international environment

Your role:

  • Proposal development: You will actively contribute to the development of new strategic projects across the Middle East and Africa region, supporting the team in identifying and shaping new business opportunities.
  • Project execution: You will support ongoing projects by conducting secondary research on countries and markets, stakeholder mapping, and other analytical and coordination activities that contribute to the successful delivery of healthcare transformation projects across the region.
  • Communication & deliverables: You will assist in preparing presentation materials, reports, and other project deliverables that clearly communicate insights and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Operational & administrative support: You will also contribute to the day-to-day coordination and documentation of projects, including status tracking, internal reporting, and quality management processes.

Your expertise:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Health, Medicine, Nursing, Biomedical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, or a related field with strong academic performance.
  • Some healthcare experience is preferred, particularly exposure to strategy, operations, or transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated interest in healthcare transformation and improvement, ideally supported by hands-on healthcare experience.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly; English fluency required, while Arabic and French are advantageous.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments and enjoys working within a large international organization.
  • Possesses strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn.
  • Experience handling clinical or operational healthcare data (e.g., patient volumes, utilization, throughput, quality metrics) and performing basic analysis in Excel.
  • Motivated to contribute directly to healthcare and strategy-related projects while supporting a growing team.
