Apply now for the position of Key Account Manager based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where you will manage strategic laboratory accounts and drive business growth within the diagnostics market. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, managing the sales process, and ensuring customer satisfaction across assigned accounts.
Your Role:
- Manage and develop relationships with key customers including hospitals, laboratories, diagnostic centers, and healthcare institutions.
- Achieve assigned sales targets for diagnostic instruments and reagents.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's presence within assigned territories.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, tender documentation, and contract negotiations.
- Develop strategic account plans to maximize long-term customer value.
- Coordinate with application specialists, service engineers, logistics, and customer support teams to ensure successful project implementation.
- Conduct regular customer visits to understand operational needs and provide appropriate diagnostic solutions.
- Monitor customer reagent consumption and instrument utilization to support business growth.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast using CRM tools.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to develop effective sales strategies.
- Participate in product demonstrations, workshops, exhibitions, and scientific meetings.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, healthcare regulations, and quality standards.
- Support tender submissions and public/private sector procurement activities.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers, including laboratory directors, pathologists, procurement teams, biomedical engineers, and hospital management.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science OR related life sciences field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Diagnostics, IVD, Clinical Laboratory, Medical devices, Laboratory Automation, hospital diagnostics or Healthcare Sales with a strong understanding of laboratory workflow, diagnostic instruments, and reagent business.
- MBA or sales certification is an advantage.
- Proven experience managing key accounts and achieving sales targets.
- Experience with laboratory analyzers and reagent business is highly preferred.
- Experience in government tenders and large healthcare projects is an advantage (GPPRR Tenders).
- Good understanding of: Clinical Chemistry, Immunoassay, Hematology, Coagulation and Laboratory workflow and automation.
- Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Customer-focused with strong relationship management skills.
- Strategic account planning and business development.
- Financial and commercial awareness.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
