Lead – Materials & Logistics
Role Summary
Responsible for end-to-end materials management & regulated logistics operations for medical devices, ensuring material availability, regulatory compliance & cost efficiency across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Materials Management
Lead demand planning, MRP execution & material availability to support production & BP service.
Optimize inventory (RM, WIP, FG) while minimizing obsolescence.
Align sourcing, production & service for uninterrupted supply.
Monitor supplier performance & mitigate supply risks.
Ensure compliance with global quality & supply chain standards.
Core Logistics Outbound
Manage inbound/outbound logistics for sensitive medical equipment.
Ensure compliance with global trade, temperature control of Medical device product requirements.
Optimize transport cost, speed & reliability.
Manage 3PLs and track delivery, cost & damage KPIs.
Regulatory & Quality Compliance
Ensure adherence to ISO 13485, GDP, GMP .
Maintain full material & product traceability.
Support audits & implement CAPA for deviations.
Inventory & Warehouse
Oversee warehouse operations & material handling of critical Medical devices.
Implement inventory controls (cycle count, audits).
Drive digital solutions (SAP, RFID & Others).
Performance
Manage material, logistics & inventory costs.
Drive optimization initiatives without impacting service/quality.
Track KPIs: Inventory, Fill Rate & Logistics Cost.
Qualifications & Experience
Education Grad or post grad preferred science 
Years of experience 
5–10 years in supply chain; Min 2 years in regulated (Medical device/IVD healthcare)
Strong SAP & global logistics expertise
