Your role:
· The Senior SAP Basis Administrator will be part of a global Cloud Operations team, responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, stability, and security of critical SAP system landscapes. This role supports SAP systems hosted on SAP RISE and customer-owned cloud environments and contributes to the adoption of modern cloud technologies such as SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
· The position acts as a technical subject matter expert, coordinating internal teams and external service providers, leading technical initiatives, and supporting complex SAP Basis, infrastructure, and cloud operations in a global envi nsure high availability and continuity of assigned SAP system landscapes, including participation in on-call/on-duty support.
· Manage and resolve SAP Basis and infrastructure incidents and problems, including major incident escalation.
· Coordinate and monitor incident resolution performed by external service providers, ensuring quality and root cause analysis.
· Plan, execute, and implement technical changes such as SAP kernel updates, OS/DB patching, upgrades, DR/HA tests, and system refreshes.
· Act as SAP Basis and infrastructure lead for business-critical projects, including SAP upgrades, cloud migrations, and new landscape implementations.
· Support and operate SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including administration, security, monitoring, and user access management.
· Work closely with cloud providers and act as a bridge between business and technical teams.
· Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
· Provide expert-level guidance in SAP Basis areas such as architecture, performance optimization, transport management, and SAP security (SSL, SSO, SNC, certificates).
Your expertise:
· University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
· Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP Basis, with at least 6 years in 3rd-level support.
· Strong experience with SAP NetWeaver, SAP on HANA, S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, SAP PI/PO, SAP BW/BI, and SAP Solution Manager.
· Hands-on experience with SAP upgrades, migrations, and cloud-based SAP landscapes.
· In-depth knowledge of SAP security concepts (SSL, SSO, SNC, certificates).
· Experience with 24/7 on-call support and major incident management.
· Experience with SAP RISE and SAP BTP is a strong plus.
· Knowledge of ITIL framework and technical service management.
