Key Responsibilities:
• Provide electrical engineering support for sustenance activities across installed medical equipment platforms.
• Investigate field issues and failures including complaints using structured problem-solving techniques (RCA, 8D) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Create necessary documentation for complaint reporting.
• Drive and implement design changes through Engineering Change Request (ECR) and Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable medical device standards, including IEC 60601 and related safety requirements.
• Review and update electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and service organizations.
• Interface with global engineering teams to resolve technical issues, align design updates, and support product lifecycle activities.
• Support design verification and validation (V&V) for engineering changes and product improvements.
• Participate in reliability improvement initiatives through failure analysis, FMEA, and design reviews.
• Ensure engineering documentation, change-management activities and complaint reports comply with quality management systems and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree (BE/BTech) in Electronics, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
• 4–8 years of experience in the medical equipment or healthcare industry.
• Knowledge of IEC standards related to medical devices (e.g., IEC 60601).
• Hands-on experience with ECR/ECO processes and engineering change management
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn through hands-on experience.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work in cross-functional and global teams.
