Apply now for the position of Compensation Specialist for Southern Europe (SEU) and you will be responsible for supporting all Compensation related topics in SEU, i.e. Spain, Portugal, Greece and Italy. The role will be key in leading and coordinate Total Rewards projects in the zone SEU and act as trusted partner to the local management.
In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the SEU HR team as well as the regional and global compensation teams. As part of your responsibility, you will drive operational efficiency and ensure seamless coordination of compensation topics. Additionally, you will get the opportunity to work with the regional and global teams to drive Total Rewards topics in the EMEA region.
Your role:
- You act as a trusted partner, working proactively and collaboratively with the HR Zone head for SEU as well as the Country HR Heads
- You shape and continuously refine the compensation strategy for SEU ensuring its competitiveness and alignment with global guidelines as well as local legislation.
- You will collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as the regional compensation team to ensure consistent implementation of the compensation strategy while considering best practices and local requirements
- You manage the year-end compensation processes e.g. merit, short-term and long-term incentives incl. local guidance ensuring fairness and consistency
- You act as main point of contact and advisor for job level evaluations, hire offer package reviews and provide guidance for promotions and compensation adjustments
- You lead compensation initiatives relating to M&A activities incl. harmonizing compensation after acquisitions in SEU
- You provide detailed analytics/guidance and reports to HR and Business Leaders for decision-making
- You manage stakeholder effectively
- You are a key contributor for regional and global compensation projects
Your expertise:
- Bachelor´s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; Master´s degree preferred
- At least 5-8 years of experience in compensation (ideally, within large matrix organization or consultancy)
- Project management experience, preferably from the Total Rewards area
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with advanced excel skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and presentation skills
- Proactive stakeholder management and consultation abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Growth mindset and able to adapt well to ambiguity and fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment
- Ability to work remotely, including ability to travel occasionally
- Fluency in English is required, local language i.e. Spanish, Italian, Portuguese are a plus
