Apply now for the position of Environmental Health & Safety Professional, and you will coordinate with EHS Country lead, EHS Officer and colleagues throughout the region to ensure a consistent, effective approach to implementing the EHS Management System. You will perform a key role in evaluating EHS aspects & impacts in the country/site and implementing processes to address those risks. Identify and effectively communicate new EHS legal and other requirements, reporting trends and best practices to the Kosice site. Candidate must be able to communicate effectively in Slovak and in English.


Your role:

  • Responsible for BOZP, PO, and environmental protection at the assigned site.
  • Monitors and implements legal requirements in the areas of BOZP, PO, and EHS, and ensures their implementation into internal guidelines and processes.
  • Cooperates with the management of the assigned site (Košice) and with regional EHS teams.
  • Evaluates workplace risks, conducts internal audits, and performs regular workplace inspections.
  • Implements and maintains global SHS management systems in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Helps build an EHS culture among employees and encourages safe behavior.
  • Handles work-related accidents, occupational diseases, entry and periodic medical examinations, and maintains the relevant records.
  • Communicate with authorities, inspection bodies, and external partners.


Your expertise:

  • 3+ years progressive EHS experience
  • 1+ years’ experience implementing ISO 14001/45001
  • University degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Safety, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent scientific discipline. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Bezpečnostný technik (Safety technician) Certificate
  • Technik požiarnej ochrany (Fire technician) Certificate

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills, possesses excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities, and actively listens with the ability to understand different perspectives, needs, and expectations. They are self-driven and capable of achieving results even with limited instructions.

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: starting from 2200 EUR brutto /month + VAR*
