Radiology as a Service (RaaS) Head of Sales in GB&I

Siemens Healthineers is currently pioneering a new digital service which will support radiology departments and hospitals to automate key workflows in the processing, analysis, and retrieval of patient imaging data. Leveraging sophisticated technologies across AI, Cloud Computing, and human quality gates, the offering enables users to run the data through various algorithms and generate meaningful and high-quality reports, so output can be reviewed up to 30% faster. Currently in MVP-definition stage, the product has the scope to create huge efficiencies for radiologists, whilst transforming patient outcomes and potentially saving the lives of many.

Therefore, we are launching a new unit within Siemens Healthineers, playing a key role in the development and launch of one of our most impactful endeavors yet. We are on the lookout for a multi-disciplinary team of technologists, sales professionals, and healthcare experts, dedicated to this unique mission. This is an opportunity to create impact from day 1 and transform key aspects within one of the world’s most established industries. We are looking for an experienced Head of Sales to drive sales growth, shape our market presence, and make a significant impact on our organization's success in Great Britain & Ireland.

Responsibilities

Sales strategy development:

  • Develop and deploy sales approach and funnel for the RaaS business, with a focus on the GB&I market in alignment with Healthineers top management
  • Act as the key point of contact and deal maker in interactions with customers in close collaboration with existing sales teams at Healthineers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers
  • Closely collaborate with internal stakeholders across the business such as the Head of Implementation and Head of Product/Tech to provide market intelligence from customers and give key input into product considerations

Ownership of sales and partnerships:

  • Manage the sales matrix and own the entire pipeline cycle from lead generation to deal closure
  • Negotiate and finalize strategic deals including financial negotiations, ensuring favorable outcomes for Healthineers
  • Measure and optimize the sales funnel, esp. conversion rates and track key KPIs e.g., CAC and payback period, while ensuring a smooth and efficient process
  • Leverage sales acumen and relationship-building skills to convert leads
  • Continuously assess and optimize sales and marketing strategies to maximize reach and effectiveness

Sales team Management:

  • Upon successful establishment of commercial sales and a strong sales pipeline, you will build up a sales team – this includes
  • Developing job descriptions and incentive plans, driving recruiting decisions and team building
  • Setting clear sales goals and targets, providing guidance and supporting to ensure team members achieve their objectives
  • Fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales teams, promoting teamwork and professional growth

Ideal Capabilities

• Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration or a related field; an MBA or equivalent business experience is a plus
• Proven track record (5+ years) in sales leadership or a similar role, ideally gained within a healthcare sales environment, preferably with direct experience with digital services
• Exceptional sales and negotiations skills with the ability to convert leads, acquire new customers, and manage relationships with existing ones
• Strong sales leadership skills, setting effective sales targets whilst also empowering an autonomous cross-disciplinary team
• Familiarity with digital services and technologies, particularly in the context of medical imaging and radiology
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to sell RaaS to customers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and a customer-centric approach
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams
• Experience with UK customers
