As a Global Scrum Master and Lead Software Engineer for the Global Service Management (GSM) team, leading and enabling a globally distributed team across Bengaluru, Shenzhen, and Erlangen, you will drive Agile delivery, foster cross-cultural collaboration, and champion technical excellence. 

This role combines software development, platform operations, and Agile leadership, requiring a balanced focus on engineering productivity, service reliability, and stakeholder collaboration across development teams and Central IT organizations. Working closely with IT teams, Agile Release Trains (ARTs), Product Management, Architecture, and key stakeholders, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives for MR’s Internal Development Platform (IDP), ensuring operational excellence, efficient ticket resolution, and the delivery of high-quality software solutions and internal engineering tools that support innovative healthcare products and services.

Job Profile:
Serve as the Global Scrum Master for the GSM team, facilitating Agile ceremonies, fostering team collaboration, ensuring smooth sprint execution, and proactively removing impediments.
Drive continuous improvement through measurement, analysis, and optimization of quality metrics, service KPIs, and team performance indicators.
Lead and contribute to the development of internal engineering tools and solutions, including KPI reporting, AI-enabled knowledge management agents, Access management capabilities, and other productivity-enhancing applications.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, ARTs, and IT stakeholders to prioritize, refine, and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives.
Lead technical analysis, implementation, testing, and validation of fixes for customer-reported issues, defects, and service tickets across the product landscape.
Ensure solutions adhere to coding standards, quality guidelines, security requirements, and software development best practices.
Integrate and submit software changes into the Software Configuration Management (SCM) system while meeting committed delivery timelines.
Guide and promote CI/CD best practices, DevOps adoption, automation initiatives, and development standards across the team.
Support root cause analysis, incident resolution, and preventive actions to improve product stability, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Mentor and coach team members in Agile practices, technical competencies, domain knowledge, and professional growth.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project, technical, and operational risks.
Foster effective collaboration across geographically distributed teams and stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech., MCA, M.E./M.Tech., M.Sc. Computer Science, or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.

Knowledge and Experience
8+ years of software development experience, including at least 2+ years in a Scrum Master or similar Agile leadership role.
Strong expertise in C#/.NET development, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), software design principles, design patterns, and enterprise application architecture.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including YAML and Classic Pipelines, Boards, Repositories, and Release Management. Strong knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps practices, release management, and deployment automation.
Strong working knowledge of Git-based source control and software configuration management practices.
Proven experience in troubleshooting complex application issues through analysis of application logs, system logs, Event Viewer logs, and performance metrics.
Expertise in scripting and automation using PowerShell and/or Python.
Solid understanding of hardware specifications, system resource utilization, performance tuning, and environment diagnostics.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and decision-making skills.
Experience working in global, cross-functional, and multi-site Agile teams.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ownership, accountability, assertiveness, and customer-focused mindset.
