Apply now for the position of Test Technician and you will be part of our engineering team of 11 people, working closely with two other technicians. In this role, you will analyze, troubleshoot, and fix defects that occur during the assembly and testing of ultrasound devices. You’ll also document all issues and corrective actions, ensuring clear communication within the team.

The position is based in Košice, near the airport.


Your role:

  • Analyze defective ultrasound devices to identify the specific root cause of the product failure, fix the issue or work with Quality to handle nonconforming/suspect parts and supplier claims.
  • Investigate process-related issues during assembly (e.g., parts not fitting or not mountable), determine why they occur, and implement/drive the fix to restore proper assembly flow.
  • Re-test and verify every repair or corrective action to confirm the device and/or process is fully restored to specification.
  • Properly document all problems, root cause analysis, containment/corrective actions, and verification results in line with company standards.
  • Support production on-site, troubleshoot issues in real time, and contribute to sustained process improvements.
  • Communicate clearly across the cross-functional team (engineering, quality, production), escalating complex cases as needed.

Your expertise:

  • Experience with computer hardware and software is a strong advantage. Ideally, you are familiar with Windows installation, PC assembly, and troubleshooting, and you understand computer components and their integration.
  • Strong process-oriented thinking demonstrated in process improvement activities
  • Ability to learn quickly and take responsibility for assigned tasks
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation and procedures independently and successfully execute them without supervision.
  • 1 year of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment – advantage
  • English – Intermediate B1/B2
  • Computer literacy
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: starting from 1500 EUR brutto /month + VAR*
