Then come and join our team as a Collaborations Scientist in Molecular Imaging to manage pre- and post-commercial scientific and clinical research collaborations with partners in the APJ region.

Your tasks and responsibilities: As a Collaborations Scientist you will be responsible for:
  • Supporting major academic sites in the Asia-Pacific region that use Siemens Healthineers Molecular Imaging PET/CT and SPECT/CT systems for conducting scientific and clinical research.
  • Identifying areas of mutual interest for future collaboration projects relevant to business strategy and the collaborative partnership.
  • Working closely with academic partners to drive and support state-of-the-art hardware and software features in pre- and post-release evaluation scenarios.
  • Driving the validation of technical concepts for future product integration and coordination of communication amongst the participating departments.
  • Determination of the content of collaboration contracts, assessing risks and value of the collaboration, providing technical/technological support, and monitoring results and deliverables.
  • Serving as the author or co-author of scientific publications based on your work with the collaboration partners.
  • Enabling delivery of content for articles, peer-reviewed publications, abstracts, and marketing materials through collaboration collaterals.
  • Representing the Siemens Healthineers Molecular Imaging (MI) Business Line at international conferences where your work will be presented
Your qualifications and experience:
  • You have successfully completed a doctoral degree (PhD) in Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Sciences, or similar discipline
  • You have several years of post-doctoral, professional experience in a healthcare company, university or clinic in research and development
  • You have clinical experience with PET/CT and SPECT/CT imaging.
  • You demonstrate a sound understanding of PET and SPECT reconstruction. Experience with kinetic modelling and artificial intelligence applications in medical imaging would be a major plus
  • Strong programming knowledge, especially in Python and IDL are desirable. Familiarity with Siemens’ proprietary e7 tools is preferred.
  • You have supported clinical trials in the field of Molecular Imaging and Theranostics
  • You have experience in designing research studies and have a publication list, including co-author articles in international scientific peer-reviewed journals
  • You have experience in presenting your work in front of a scientific audience
Your attributes and skills:
  • You have experience in a multi-cultural environment, strong interpersonal skills to be able to communicate and collaborate with different teams and research groups.
  • Your strong communication skills and can-do approach enable you to provide technical advice to key users and present your work in front of a scientific audience
  • Fluency in English. Additional languages a plus.
