Your role:
- Successfully identify commercial risks and draft proposed changes to contract documents, as required, to ensure compliance with Siemens’ requirements and current operational standards
- Timely communicate commercial risks and required contract changes to managers and relevant governance owners
- Ensure stakeholder alignment and preparation of all necessary internal approval documents (risk checklist, inter-departmental reviews, management approvals, etc.)
- Ability to interpret contract terms operationally, translate them into project actions to guide the project team, identify risk, and escalate appropriately to relevant governance owner.
- Coordinate inter-department reviews and changes to customer contracts
- Experience managing change orders, amendments, and contract modification
- Assess contract risk profile for adherence to established Limits of Authority (LoA) guidelines & other communicated guidelines.
- Review purchase orders for compliance with contract, offer or framework agreement.
- Complete review and negotiations for Non-Disclosure Agreements, Letters of Intent (LOI), and other miscellaneous agreement requests within the offer process – specific assignments may be adjusted depending on volume.
Your expertise:
- Law degree and contract management experience in private and government contracts or a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience in commercial transactions and contract management.
- Strong organization and documentation management skills.
- Negotiation skills and experience: develop risk mitigation strategies and help negotiate and finalize contract agreements where necessary.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills for work in both languages (Arabic & English) with clients, partners, and subcontractors in preparation and management of complex contract
- Strong understanding of commercial contract administration, lifecycle management, and risk mitigation strategies
