Your role:

The Major Incident and Problem Manager will join the Global Operations Center, playing a critical role in ensuring IT service stability and minimizing business impact during major incidents. This role leads fast, structured, and coordinated incident responses while using data and insights to prevent recurring issues.

Beyond incident handling, this position contributes to the continuous improvement of IT Service Management (ITSM) and operational maturity through agile ways of working, collaboration, automation, and data-driven decision-making.

Lead end-to-end management of major incidents within a 24/7 global rotation model, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal business disruption.

Act as the central command and communication point during incidents, coordinating cross-functional technical teams.

Ensure high-quality post-incident reviews, including root cause analysis, metrics, lessons learned, and follow-up actions.

Drive proactive problem management using incident analytics, trend analysis, and operational performance data.

Identify recurring issues and systemic risks and work with technical teams to implement sustainable corrective actions.

Track and report problem resolution progress, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.

Contribute to the improvement of ITSM processes, tools, and automation to enhance operational resilience.

Apply agile principles such as iterative improvements, fast feedback loops, and cross-team collaboration.

Promote a culture of ownership, learning, transparency, and data-informed decision-making.

Your expertise:

·       University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

·       Advanced English

·       Proven experience in Major Incident Management, Problem Management, or IT Operations within complex, global IT environments.

·       Strong knowledge of ITSM frameworks (ITIL v3/v4), with hands-on experience in Incident, Problem, and Change Management.

·       Ability to analyze operational data and translate insights into concrete actions.

·       Solid technical understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud environments, and applications.

·       Comfortable working in a 24/7 rotation shift model.

·       Hands-on, proactive, and learning-oriented mindset with strong ownership attitude.

·       ITIL certification (Foundation or higher).

·       Experience in global, distributed enterprise environments.

·       Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and automation tools.

·       Exposure to agile, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
