The Collaboration Manager ensures an effective co-working and coordinates knowledge exchange between chosen research partners and Siemens Healthineers in Hungary. Manages individual Collaborations throughout the Collaboration process. Drives individual collaboration projects with Healthcare Organizations/ collaboration partners.

As Collaboration manager reports to the Managing Director in Hungary.

The position is characterized by number, complexity and volume of collaboration projects.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages the assigned scientific and clinical collaboration projects holistically (contract negotiation to project wrap-up).
  • Establishes close relationships to the assigned collaboration partners and identifies new suitable partners / projects.
  • Active participation in contract negotiations and in determining the content of Collaboration Contracts, assessing risks and values of the Collaboration. Provide technological support when it is needed. Coordinates the cooperation among parties: SHS product development team and research partners. Keeping administration up-to-date in relevant SHS system(s).
  • Closely interacts with R&D, PLM and/or Clinical Affairs (e.g. to foster joint developments and realize the evaluations of new technologies) and/or Marketing (e.g. to transform results from scientific research into the marketing strategy
  • Monitors the study progress and the budget and follows-up on contractually agreed deliverables and milestones and ensures timely escalation in case of non-conformance.
  • Provides onsite support to dedicated collaboration partners within the framework of specific collaboration projects. Provides technical expertise to the formulation of collaboration research proposals.
  • Performs research and/or development in collaboration with collaboration partners to complete science-based projects.
  • Investigates, creates and develops new methods and technologies for project advancement.
  • Ensures that all assigned collaboration projects follow the four compliance principles: separation, fair-market-value, documentation, transparency.
  • Ensures that all assigned collaboration projects follow the underlying processes, rules and regulations (compliance, tax, IP, export control, regulatory affairs).


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Communication and customer interaction skills, incl. conflict handling; adult teaching and learning methods
  • Knowledge of relevant competitors and their relevant product portfolio.
  • Knowledge of Siemens and Healthcare product portfolio
  • Presentation and demonstration skills
  • Fluent English and Hungarian language skills
  • System, modality and application knowledge.
  • Clinical knowledge (customer core processes, clinical workflow, disease pathways)
  • Professional experience in the field of MR physics, signal or image processing, data management, data analysis and visualization
  • Medical knowledge (anatomy, physiology and pathology)
  • BA or MA in engineering, physics or medical sciences or economic sciences
  • Min. 5 years experience in application activities, experience in scientific partnership management is preferable.
  • Knowledge of the Hungarian medical market, experienced in scientific partnership projects.
  • Ability and/or experience in project teamwork and coordination
  • Experienced (min. 5 years) in working at a multinational environment
