This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a DX Regional Data Governor, you will be responsible for:

Leadership in Regional Digitization Initiatives

·        Drive and oversee end-to-end digitization initiatives across data domains (customer, material, vendor, finance, SCM etc.) in alignment with global standards.

·        Collaborate with regional business units, IT, and headquarter data governance teams to ensure successful project delivery

·        Act as the regional point of contact for data-related change initiatives and digital transformation programs

Data Quality, Cleansing, and Data Migration Management

·        Define and implement data quality KPIs and metrics specific to regional business needs.

·        Coordinate data profiling, anomaly detection, and remediation efforts to enhance data accuracy and completeness.

·        Lead root cause analysis and design sustainable corrective action plans to prevent data quality

·        Plan and manage regional data migration projects, including legacy system decommissioning and integration into target platforms.

·        Develop and execute migration strategies and data validation protocols.

·        Ensure minimal disruption to business operations through risk assessments, stakeholder engagement, and robust testing procedures.

Regional Governance & Compliance

·        Ensure adherence to enterprise data governance policies, data protection regulations, and compliance standards within the region.

·        Define, document, and enforce regional data standards and stewardship responsibilities.

·        Maintain and update the data governance framework to reflect regional nuances and operational changes.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

·        Build strong partnerships with regional leadership, data stewards, and domain owners.

·        Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and communications to foster a culture of data accountability.

·        Act as a champion for data governance and digital innovation across the region.

Required skills to have for the success of this role

·        Act as advisor to management, internal colleagues and functional leaders on advanced matters related to Data Stewardship program

·        You see a big picture, yet have ability to dive deep into root cause analyses

·        You are able and willing to guide exploration and evaluation of new technical / app solutions for business use case application

·        You have excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) focused on translation of IT to business and business to IT

·        You work effectively in global, multi-cultural teams and have experience in leading and influencing teams without direct authority

·        Master’s degree or equivalent experience is required with a minimum of 10 years of experience within Business Process Improvement, Data Management, Project Management and/or Business Analyst role(s)

·        Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role (ideally functional and project leadership)

·        Willing to travel up to 5-20%
