Global Head of HR OPS Vendor Management

Department: SHS HR OPS SDE GP

Mode of Employment: Permanent / Full-time

This role is accountable for managing the overall relationship with our HR Operations’ strategic vendors managing all outsourced services related to HR Services including but not limited to Global Mobility Management, HR Administration, Travel and Expenses and AskHR. This includes governance of the HR Operations vendor management lifecycle and strategic management of the relationship ensuring vendor-delivered services meet business expectations for quality, compliance, cost discipline, and continuous improvement.

Operating within a complex global matrix, this role manages relationships across multiple internal stakeholder groups including HR Regional Operations teams, Centers of Expertise, Procurement, Finance, and HRIT, while acting as the liaison between vendor and Siemens Healthineers stakeholders to drive accountability across vendor leadership teams and service offerings.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Vendor Governance

  • Own the end-to-end governance framework for outsourced HR service delivery partnerships
  • Establish clear accountability, performance expectations, escalation protocols, and decision-making structures across vendor relationships
  • Proactively identify delivery risks and lead mitigation strategies

Service Delivery Performance

  • Build, align and maintain process framework for E2E Vendor management function and lifecycle including collaboration and communication structure with focus on HR OPS strategic partner
  • Execute and control the global processes in connection with vendor management lifecycle
  • Arrange and lead service reviews, feedback sessions and executive performance discussions with clients and service providers
  • As the single point of contact for escalations, coordinate support to resolve complex service delivery challenges across organizational and geographic boundaries

Contract Management

  • Manage the vendors and corresponding contracts, perform regular service review meetings and (KPI) reporting as well as day-to-day service updates
  • Define, align and manage contract management process with internal and external stakeholders and partners
  • Manage the financial aspects of the managed services including annual budgeting, controlling, reporting and invoice checking and signoff, analyze the financial impact of service changes, tracking actuals against budget, etc.
  • Establish and administer the annual budgets and cash plans, and manage expenditures and charge outs to operate within the approved budget
  • Analyzes cost optimization and quality assurance opportunities
  • Drive the contract renewals and support RFPs to select new vendors when applicable, support the project managers with defining business cases for renewal / replacement and support the project approval process.
  • Work with CoEs and functional specialists to identify suitable service providers and partners with Procurement to provide expertise and direction on sourcing, services and vendor selection processes. .

Commercial Management

Trusted Partnerships

  • Build trusted relationships across HR Operations leadership, regional teams, CoEs, Procurement, Finance, and HRIT
  • Serve as the strategic interface between outsourced service partners and Siemens Healthineers stakeholders
  • Navigate local requests and competing priorities to ensure alignment to global services strategy and processes

Your qualifications and experience:

  • University level Degree required
  • 10+ years of HR experience including 5+ years of experience in HR Shared Services, Global Business Services or comparable service delivery environments
  • Demonstrated success in strategic vendor management including supplier governance and contract management
  • Proven experience managing cross-border sourcing initiatives, 3rd party partnerships, and complex agreements
  • Exceptional organizational, planning and execution skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer-centric mindset with a strong commitment to deliver high-quality employee and stakeholder experiences
  • High degree of integrity, sound judgement, and professionalism with the ability to build trust across stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions and levels
  • Experience in cost management, commercial oversight and vendor risk management
  • Fluent English required; additional languages beneficial.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
