HR Professional
We are currently looking for a HR Professional Belux for our organisation based in Belgium (Groot Bijgaarden).
The HR Professional role is a crucial role in the organization, being in trustful interaction both with the Management of the organization and the employees, on a daily basis.
This position will support the team in achieving the company strategy. The HR Professional will act as advisor and administrator for all HR-related topics.
The position reports functionally to the HR Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a solid understanding of the company's strategy, business priorities and organizational needs, and translate these into effective HR support and actions
- Ensure implementation and follow up of HR-tools and processes
- Monitor changes in local labor legislation and assess their impact on internal policies and procedures; proactively recommend improvements and ensure compliance
- Act as a liaison person with our payroll department for all payroll-related matters
- Follow up on all HR admin processes (including retirement and pre-retirement arrangements, part-time employment contracts, headcount management, onboarding and offboarding activities)
- Ensure contract addendum preparation when needed
- Ensure correctness of Master Data in the various tools (Workday – Cosmos, etc.)
- Ensure clear communication to employees regarding all HR-related topics
- Create and maintain internal documents (org chart, internal HR process, working conditions…)
- Maintain the HR intranet pages
- Manage the on-boarding of the new employees in collaboration with the person in charge of Talent Acquisition
- Support the HR Director in C&B topics
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing HR processes, employee experience and operational efficiency
PROFILE DESCRIPTION
- Master's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Payroll Administration or a related field
- Fluent in Dutch and French, both written and spoken; good command of English
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an HR generalist, HR operations or payroll-related role
- Good knowledge of local legislation (knowledge of Luxembourg legislation is a plus)
- Good knowledge of Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Power point)
- Knowledge of Workday is a plus
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Comfortable working with digital HR systems, tools and process automation
- Results oriented
- Good administrative and organizational skills
- Open-minded, autonomous, flexible and proactive
- Able to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
