Your role:

·       The Head of Finance Diagnostics is responsible for leading the financial performance, governance and business partnering agenda for Diagnostics in Colombia and selected distributor-based countries.

·       The role combines:

ü  Strong hands-on P&L ownership.

ü  Close partnership with commercial leadership.

ü  Exposure to legal entity and CFO-level responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

ü  P&L Ownership & Business Performance

·       Full responsibility for Diagnostics P&L across assigned countries.

·       Drive margin, cost discipline and profitable growth initiatives.

·       Lead planning, forecasting and monthly performance reviews.

·       Prepare management-ready analyses and clear performance narratives.

ü  Distributor Model Financial Management

·       Ensure robust contract governance, including review, approval routing, and enforcement of applicable terms & conditions.

·       Support complex deal structuring in close collaboration with Sales, Legal, Finance, and relevant governance bodies.

·       Ensure compliance with Healthcare Transparency and other applicable regulatory and internal requirements across LAM.

·       Financial steering of distributor-driven markets, including: Margin analysis and incentive structures, Inventory and exposure monitoring, Credit risk and payment discipline and Support commercial negotiations from a finance and risk perspective.

ü  Business Partnering

·       Act as primary finance partner to Country Management and Commercial leadership.

·       Translate financial data into actionable commercial insights.

·       Support business cases and growth initiatives.

ü  Cash & Risk Focus

·       Ownership of cash performance, DSO and working capital.

·       Implement and monitor risk mitigation actions.

·       Ensure compliance with regional and corporate guidelines.

ü  Governance & Compliance Exposure

·       Ensure correct application of accounting standards and internal controls.

·       Coordinate audits and statutory requirements with guidance from regional finance.

ü  People & Self-Leadership

·       Typically, small to mid-sized teams or dotted-line structures.

·       Focus on personal leadership presence, financial rigor and credibility.

·       Actively develop skills required for future CFO role.

Qualifications

·       Typically, 8–12 years of finance experience.

·       Proven P&L responsibility (mandatory).

·       Experience in Medical Devices, Diagnostics, Healthcare or Pharma (mandatory).

·       Exposure to distributors or channel-driven businesses (strong plus).

·       Strong background in governance, process standardization, and performance steering.

·       Experience leading transformation / verticalization initiatives is a strong advantage.

·       Fluent English & Spanish (mandatory).
