Your role:

• The Senior SAP Basis Administrator – Technical System Owner will be part of a global Technical Application Management team, responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, stability, and security of mission-critical SAP system landscapes.
• This role supports SAP environments hosted on SAP RISE and customer-owned cloud platforms, with a strong focus on modern cloud technologies such as SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Acting as Technical System Owner, this position coordinates SAP Basis and infrastructure services delivered by external providers and ensures high-quality, compliant, and reliable operations.
• The role serves as a technical subject matter expert, providing guidance to internal teams, project stakeholders, and external suppliers, and leading technically driven initiatives and upgrades in a global environment.
• Ensure availability, continuity, and performance of SAP system landscapes, including participation in on-call support and leading major incident war rooms.
• Act as Technical System Owner for SAP Basis and infrastructure across multiple SAP landscapes.
• Coordinate and govern incident and problem resolution activities performed by internal teams and external service providers.
• Ensure quality of vendor-delivered solutions, including root cause analysis and lessons learned.
• Plan and coordinate technical changes such as SAP kernel/DB updates, OS patching, DR/HA tests, system refreshes, and security-related changes.
• Support SAP Basis and infrastructure activities for business-critical projects (e.g. SAP upgrades, cloud migrations, new installations).
• Lead cross-functional technical topics beyond SAP Basis when required (e.g. frontend tool rollouts).
• Coordinate SAP BTP technical operations, including platform administration, security, monitoring, and user access management.
• Act as a communication bridge between business, technical teams, and service providers.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.

Your expertise:

·       University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

·       Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP Basis, including at least 6 years in 3rd-level support.

·       Strong hands-on experience with SAP NetWeaver, SAP on HANA, S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, SAP PI/PO, SAP BW/BI, and SAP Solution Manager.

·       Proven experience with SAP upgrades, cloud migrations, and SAP infrastructure operations.

·       In-depth knowledge of SAP security concepts (SSL, SSO, SNC, certificates).

·       Experience with major incident management and 24/7 on-call support.

·       Experience with SAP RISE and SAP BTP is a strong plus.

·       Knowledge of ITIL principles and technical service management.

·       Advanced english
