Senior Portfolio Strategy & Transformation Manager – Real Estate

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and structured Senior Portfolio Strategy & Transformation Manager – Real Estate to join our Real Estate Portfolio Management, Strategy and Sustainability team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving strategic initiatives, structuring and coordinating complex projects, and supporting effective decision-making in cooperation with the Global Head of Portfolio Management, Strategy and Sustainability – Real Estate.
This is a strategic, hands-on role that requires excellent organizational skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders in an international environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• , ensuring consistent alignment of regional activities with overarching Real Estate standards, strategic priorities, and portfolio objectives.
• , including portfolio reviews and scenario-based analyses, to enable data-driven decision-making and transparent prioritization across the global footprint.
• by defining objectives, milestones, and deliverables; actively managing timelines, interdependencies, and decision-making processes.
• by consolidating inputs across regions and functions, establishing a single source of truth for strategic portfolio decisions.
• , including decision papers, strategic presentations, and portfolio updates, translating complex portfolio topics into clear, decision-oriented messages for senior management.
• in portfolio steering, and drive mitigation actions to safeguard strategic outcomes and execution speed.
• for strategic Real Estate initiatives, coordinating cross-functional inputs (e.g., Finance, Legal, Tax, HSE), critically challenging assumptions, and translating findings into actionable recommendations.

·       Own and centralize sustainability reporting activities, including CSRD, EU Taxonomy, and related regulatory frameworks, ensuring consistent data governance, transparency, and alignment across regions and functions.

·       Drive and further develop sustainability initiatives within the Real Estate portfolio, building and continuously expanding subject matter expertise, providing guidance on sustainability measures, and supporting the implementation of impactful decarbonization and ESG initiatives.

Experience & Education

• 7+ years of professional experience in Real Estate and project management, preferably gained in multinational environments.
• Proven track record in independently leading cross-functional projects from initiation to completion.
• Strong background in executive communication: preparation and presentation of reports and decision papers for senior management.
• Experience in ensuring adherence to budgets and preparing business cases to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Solid exposure to compliance and governance related topics in an international context.
• Proven experience in functional and project leadership within interdisciplinary teams.
• Educational background in relevant fields (e.g., Business Administration, Real Estate Management, or related disciplines), ideally with a strong strategic orientation (e.g., Strategy, Finance, or Organizational Design).
