At Siemens Healthineers Diagnostics in Sudbury, Suffolk, we are a global leading manufacturer in the assembly of specialist instrumentation for laboratories and hospitals across the world for Urinalysis, Diabetes, and Blood Gas analytics, and are the only facility in the network to make and ship these products globally


Apply now for the position of Project Management Intern and over this 6-9 month internship you will have the opportunity to oversee a key project focused on evaluating and improving our network of suppliers and contractors within the Facilities department. Working closely with the Facilities team, this role will help strengthen operational standards, enhance supplier management, and contribute to continuous improvement across our facilities functions.


Your role:

  • You will develop and implement clear processes and procedures for managing, reviewing, and maintaining all suppliers and their associated work.
  • You will support the establishment of clear processes, procedures, and defined roles and responsibilities within the wider Facilities department.
  • You will liaise with key stakeholders and support with day to day Facilities activities.
  • You will build and maintain strong, effective working relationships with external stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors.
  • You will support with existing Facilities contracts and re-tendering processes where applicable, particularly for key service areas.
  • You will use Power BI or similar digital tools to enhance reporting, streamline workflows, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the Facilities function.
 

About you:

  • You will be currently undertaking or have recently completed a degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area e.g. Business, Economics, Project Management etc.
  • You will be a highly organised individual used to multi-tasking with excellent time, planning and project management skills.
  • You will have exceptional communication skills at all levels, and be able to present and communicate in both written and verbal format.
  • You will have the ability to carry out analytical work.
  • You will enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • You will be based in reasonable commuting distance of Sudbury, as this is a flexible role with hybrid working of approximately 2-3 days office presence each week.

You must also have eligibility to work in the UK for the duration of this 6-9 month internship (ideally starting May 2026).
