We are seeking an experienced and driven quality professional to join our Radiopharma business as the Head of Theranostic Strategy Portfolio & Business Development, a critical leadership role supporting the expansion of our international business. 

 

In this role, you will be responsible for responsible for defining and executing Siemens Healthineers Radiopharma’s global theranostics strategy, encompassing both diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals, and developing external partnerships including Radioligand Therapy (RLT) contracts for Development and Manufacturing (CDMO)

This role leads the end-to-end development of the theranostics portfolio, including external partnerships, manufacturing network strategy, clinical and commercial supply readiness, and financial performance. The position serves as a key interface between commercial, technical operations, and external partners, positioning Siemens Healthineers as a preferred partner for theranostics development and manufacturing.

 

The role combines strategic leadership, business development, and operational execution, with significant visibility to senior leadership and external stakeholders, and plays a critical role in building a scalable theranostics platform.

Your role: 

Strategy & Portfolio Management

  • Define and execute the global theranostics strategy aligned with the Radipharma business objectives
  • Identify, prioritize, and manage theranostics opportunities, including diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals, new isotopes, and emerging technologies
  • Develop long-term portfolio roadmaps and investment strategies
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments

Manufacturing Network Development

  • Define requirements and specificities to develop a global manufacturing and supply network to support theranostics programs
  • Define site strategy, capacity planning, and investment roadmap for theranostic products, ensuring alignment and collaboration with technical operations, quality and capital programs functions.
  • Ensure manufacturing capabilities support clinical trial and commercial supply requirements
  • Align network design with regulatory, quality, and logistical constraints

Business Development & Partnerships

  • Lead business development activities with pharmaceutical, biotech, and academic partners
  • Position Siemens Healthineers Radiopharma as a CDMO and strategic partner for theranostics development and manufacturing
  • Structure and negotiate agreements for clinical trials and commercial supply
  • Support due diligence, valuation, and contract negotiations

Financial Management

  • Develop and manage business cases, financial models, and investment proposals
  • Define pricing strategies and commercial frameworks for partnerships
  • Monitor financial performance, including revenue, margin, and return on investment
  • Support budgeting and long-term planning processes

Travel: Required to perform job function (up to 50%)

Your expertise:

  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred) 
  • 10–15 years’ experience in radiopharmaceuticals, oncology, nuclear medicine, or related industries, with exposure to radioligand therapy development 
  • Strong knowledge of GMP manufacturing, clinical development, and radiopharmaceutical supply chains 
  • Proven experience in business development, portfolio management, or strategic roles 
  • Strong strategic, financial, and commercial acumen, including business case development and deal negotiations 
  • Ability to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives in a dynamic and evolving environment

  • Impact on Organization: High : This role is pivotal to the success of our Radiopharma expansion strategy by driving the timely delivery of new manufacturing capacities, ensuring projects are executed within scope, budget, and regulatory expectations, and enabling the introduction of new diagnostic and therapeutic products to market. Effective leadership in this role ensures alignment of cross-functional teams, seamless technology transfer, and operational readiness to meet patient and customer needs. A lack of leadership or delays in execution could result in significant financial loss (e.g., missed revenue from delayed product launches), reputational damage, operational inefficiencies, and potential regulatory setbacks that could impact patient access to critical therapies.
